My Guppies Breed Fry (Fries) Again

2 days ago, my guppies breed fry again. This time it was from another female guppy. A total of 30+ fly (flies). Any way, it was not all happiness like life. Couple of days ago, 1 male guppy and the mother guppy from the 1st breeding died. It is a cycle.

Air Pump for my Guppies

Got a air-pump this morning for my guppies. Just around RM20+. The fishes look more active now that the air flowing through. Air pump provide oxygen to enter the water and prevent buildup of algae. With bubbles running through, it looks more lively now.

Missing Evidence after 1 Year?

I was wandering what to write after 3 months. World Cup? Already forgotten :). Oh yes. Forgotten is correct. Forgotten evidence after 1 year in Teoh Beng Hock's case.

For a regular people like me, it is really out of imagination that an important piece of evidence can be hidden for 1 long year. Imaging watching CSI!

Road Bully at Sri Petaling

It has been a while since I write somethings here; Most likely the laziest (a lot of blogger claims that :) blogger around. Thought about writing on the JPJ new policies but since it was withdrawn, I didn't manage to write that.

But now, I just can't resist writing about a road bully incident that happened to myself this morning. I was driving along under the highway (the controversial Samy Vellu Sri Petaling highway) at Sri Petaling and stopped at a the traffic light junction turning to OUG. There was this Black 4-wheel-drive suddenly starts to horn when the traffic light going straight turned GREEN. So I look at the rear-mirror again and see this man probably in his 50thies showing some hand signs asking me to move?! I re-check the traffic light and it is still RED, so I point to the left lane which is supposed to be his lane and I can see him starting to talk somethings which I just ignore. After a while he probably reversed a bit and turned to the left, to my surprises, this guy stop side-by-side, lower the windows , shout out some words and spitt at my car and drive away! What a jerk!

The car no. of this guy is NBK 9xx.

What a Fishy Ministry?

The blue-box ruling by the fishery department is a sad refection of a corrupt government. Any Rakyats with common sense will be able to sense the wrong doing at one glance. How can any authorities asking Rakyat to pay more for somethings that cost much less? To give "subsidy" to the fishermen is also a form of CBT for siphoning Taxpayers' money into own pockets. To know that this was already happened 3 years ago when the ruling was postponed and can still proceed without the intervention by whoever supposed to do their jobs is also a joke.

Researches (forget about them) , just common sense will tell you that ideas like these are not going to work. What these morons are trying to do is to show you that they have ideas and force you to spend your energy to prove them wrong but they will then implement some other "also bright" policies without you noticing.

Malaysian children going to school at the age of 6? As if our children had not suffered enough from all the ridiculous policies? Every new year and every change of people who supposed to have says in the minitry, they never failed to talk about how heavy the school bag that the pupil need to carry but years come and years go, ministers come and ministers go, what had they done? What KPI are they talking about? May be one of them is to reduce the weight under 10kg?

Clueless Malaysia Education Ministers

I normally do not want to write about politic but I am really dismayed to read about the policy change about teaching science and mathematic subject in English.

Over the past 30 years, many rubbish policies had been implemented resulting the deteration of standards in our education level.

My son is study in standard one and he will be suffering from a policy that had been proven wrong for the next 3 years, what on earth that our politicians can made such a brainless decision? Malaysia BOLEH!

Over the weekend, I watch my wife teaching my son the mathematic subject, once again, I am shocked at the way mathematic had been manipulated to such a way that a simple 1 or 2 steps calcuation required 4 to 5 useless ways. OMG.

There are many websites provide daily Sudoku puzzles but one of my favorite is New Straits Times.
I like the site as it provide many options for users to select. You can also print it together with the answer just in case you can't finish it the same day.

The only short coming is that the webmaster didn't bother to remove a link at the bottom of the screen for something that was year ago.

In the games of Chess, or some other competitive games, title is given to players whose skill has reach a certain level. eg. master or grandmaster.

How about Sudoku? Sudoku Grandmaster!
Sudoku Grandmaster is not a title, it is a magazine for Sudoku lovers. It say "Warning! Contains Serious Sudoku"; Not suitable for Beginners!

The magazine is published in UK by Bromleigh House and price at 2.25 pound. In Malaysia, I have only seen it in Popular Book Store.

Sudoku Solver

One of the resources available from the Net is Sudoku Solver. It is a program that will solve the Sudoku puzzle when the initial setup is entered. It is an interesting programming skill test but personally I think it is quite simple to program even through I had not been doing computer programming for many years!

I think it is not good for the games as it take away a lot of fun and encourage people to take a short-cut rather than trying to learning the necessary skills. It also encourage cheating in competition that is conducted on-line; The organizer will not know if the puzzle was solved using a program. The on-going BRANDS Sudoku Challenge is a failure if the organizer don't take into considerations. Kiasu people might use Sudoku Solver to qualify for the Final/Selection.

Sudoku or Soduku?

If one searches the Net, he will find that there are at least 2 different spelling regarding this game! Some uses Sudoku, some uses Soduku but they are both the same.

There are many on-line information and resources one can use regarding this game, one have to make use of both the words in order not to miss out good resources. For example one of my favorite on-line Sudoku is http://www.soduku.org You will find a lot of sudoku puzzle ranging from easy, medium, hard and insane!
